Tony Tran has a huge passion towards all things design related and has even started his own company, Tranimated , shortly after graduating from the New England Institute of Art.
The best thing he loves about being a freelance graphic designer is working with individual clients to help them execute their vision. He takes on each project with a problem solving approach that helps him produce original and authentic designs that resonate with target audiences. Selena envisioned the idea of Bob’s story in Spring 2013 when she realized there is a growing epidemic in childhood obesity and diabetes in her surroundings. Together with her illustrating partner, she pitched the idea at Philly Startup Weekend which won 2nd place. Since then, Selena has used her free time to develop a storyline for Bob’s time travel adventure.
Since graduating from Drexel University College of Medicine with her PhD Microbiology and Immunology, she has delved into her Postdoctoral Fellowship at John Wayne Cancer Institute where her research focuses on translating minimally-invasive cancer tests that utilize blood or urine into the clinic. Ultimately, she hopes to one day provide cancer patients with a noninvasive urine DNA screening test for early cancer detection and ultimately improve cancer patients’ outcome.
